Proposed 128-Unit Housing Development South of Bloomington Takes Step Forward — But Barely

Developers who are planning a 128-unit neighborhood just south of Bloomington will get to make their case before the Monroe County commissioners, though their proposal, so far, has revealed a sharp divide among county officials over housing density.
Members of the county plan commission on Tuesday voted 8-0 to forward the proposal without a recommendation to the county commissioners, who will have the final say on the matter. They are expected to take action within the next month.
