Thomas Raises Concerns About Westside Tif District Planning

Recommendations on how to brand the Westside Tax Increment Finance District leave out how residents fit into the area, according to at least one county official.
During the Monroe County commissioners’ staff time on Tuesday, Commissioner Julie Thomas raised concerns about the branding study the Monroe County Redevelopment Commission contracted with Schmidt Associates to perform for the TIF area.
