The Bloomington Economic Development Corporation’s (BEDC) vision is to be the economic catalyst for a prosperous and resilient community.
The BEDC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and implementing economic development strategies, as well as retaining, developing, and attracting quality jobs in Monroe County, Indiana. The BEDC has ~118 members representing the private, local government, nonprofit, and educational sectors. Funded through memberships and grants from the private sector, Monroe County, the City of Bloomington, the Town of Ellettsville, and Indiana University, the BEDC is committed to ensuring the long-term success of our community, members, and partners.
