DESCRIPTION:Off Night Productions is teaming up with three other local\, women-led theatre companies for a play-reading festival\, “In Her Words: A Celebration of Female Playwrights\,” running October 27-29 at the Constellation Playhouse!&nbsp\;Opening the festival on Sunday\, October 27 at 2:00pm\, Resilience Productions\, a company focused on educating and enlightening the public regarding many unknown contributions of African Americans to Indiana’s history\, will be presenting A Selection of Scenes from Resilience: Indiana’s Untold Stories.&nbsp\;On Sunday evening at 7:00pm\, Monroe County Civic Theatre\, Bloomington’s only all-volunteer theatre company\, will present ASYLUM or Madness &amp\; The Whole Thing by Patricia Kranke.&nbsp\;On Monday\, October 28 at 7:00pm\, Babel Theater Project will be presenting Babel\, written by founder and playwright Ana Carneiro. A powerful tale of cultural erasure and personal alienation\, Babel explores the human cost of globalization.&nbsp\;Closing out the festival on Tuesday\, October 29 at 7:00pm\, join Off Night Productions for a reading of Five Times In One Night by Chiara Atik\, a clever (and extremely funny) play about sex\, told in five bite-size parts—each a self-contained story about different kinds of damage and delight. Don’t miss this celebration of female voices in theater!
